Thanks to Bailey for kicking some of the girls buts at waka ama training the other day...it was awesome!! as most of us haven't paddled properly like that in a while..talking for myself..I haven't felt muscle pain like that since I gave birth to my son a couple of years ago (albeit in different regions of the body of course :$ ) !! Thanks Bailey for the punishment..
me like :)
Which comes to our story about the body in the bag...ok so we want to impress all new paddlers to our club..we don't have the most picturesque club locations..nor the nicest waterway..reminds me alot of Panama Rd in Mt Wellington NZ where we use to train with Pineula and Manukau..not the prettiest..anyway...wanted to make our guest paddler at home and comfortable paddling with us....what makes a guest paddler feel like their at home or with a nice new outrigger canoe club? a body in a bag perhaps and police divers looking under the ramp on the approach back after an outrigger canoe paddle? what the hell
..I think about that person every time I head (mind the pun) out for a paddle now...I hope they find the murderer..and find out who the victim was(rest his soul)...we've all been hoping the head and limbs show up so we don't have to worry bout it showing up during one of our sprint sessions etc urrgghh..havent really heard back from that new paddler..I wonder why? :)
anyway...got a couple of newbies lined up to come to training this weekend that is..if the weather holds up..damn you laninia or laminya or however you say or spell it..you know..lotsa rain weather pattern... :P
One last thing...this paragraph is dedicated to those that say they're coming to waka ama training and then "loose their keys to the car"..or "got trashed" haha...if you do it again....we will punish you..on the water that is...we'll think of some sort of torture..you've been warned hee hee :)
that is all ;)
